The Company
Fiona Etty-Leal and James Lynch founded Your Image Solutions in 2001 with the aim of addressing the public's growing need for information on personal presentation and communication skills.
Image matters these days, and like it or not, we are conditioned to judge a book by its cover. With the right personal knowledge, and the subsequent boost of confidence, you can greatly increase your chance of success, both personally and at work.
Fiona and James have developed a range of programs and services to assist individuals, students, companies and organisations to enhance their image and presentation skills.
Fiona Etty-Leal
Fiona established her business in January 1984 and is now the longest serving image consultant in Australia. The reason her business has prospered and survived so well despite the economic ups and downs, is Fiona’s ability to re-invent herself to meet the ever changing market and her client’s current needs and expectations. Fiona has consulted to in excess of 10,000 individual clients, numerous top-level corporate clients, major retail chains and fashion houses and has trained 83 Image Consultants.
Fiona's business continues to grow with referrals from highly satisfied, transformed and inspired clients. With 35 years public speaking experience, Fiona is in constant demand as a presenter/keynote speaker for groups, organisations, fund-raisers, corporations and retail organisations.
Prior to developing her own company and product range, Fiona operated as a consultant with Colour Me Beautiful, Always In Style and The Australian Image Company. Fiona's "Wardrobe Planning Workshop" was adopted internationally, and became a model for many similar programs.
In 1988, Fiona and her partner James, bought Always In Style Australasia. During their six years of ownership, Fiona trained image consultants and ran advanced seminars and update programs for the consultant team. Fiona is an accredited trainer, holding a Certificate 4 in Workplace Training and is called upon to deliver training to staff in organisations and corporations on customer service, direct selling, motivation, advanced makeup, as well as image related programs.
After years of doing individual consultations, Fiona has now developed a range of group workshops for all her services, which she conducts from her studio in North Balwyn, or out of 7 Community Houses in the Eastern suburbs. Click on the Community Workshop tab above for the current schedule of workshops. Group workshops add a new element of fun, sharing and lively interaction to learning about image. It enables participants to share their experience with family, friends and work colleagues.

James Lynch
With over 15 years in senior management and business ownership, including 6 years in executive recruitment with 3 years as a headhunter in the finance sector, James fully understands the expectations of employers and candidates. He knows the way the interview and selection process operates, and more importantly, the preparation needed to succeed in today's highly competitive recruitment market.
James has created original and practical Interview Skills Programs, to help senior executives and corporations, students and individuals, maximise their effectiveness in the interview process. Whether you're recruiting someone to make the difference, or applying for a position, your spoken and unspoken messages have a huge impact on the interview outcome and the impression that you leave. It is not a matter of luck!
James is an experienced trainer, holding a Certificate 4 in workplace training. His approach is forthright, down to earth and practical. Common sense and humour coupled with the latest communication methods ensure that participants learn quickly and receive tangible information that can be implemented immediately.
Having operated as an employer, recruiter and specialist trainer within the recruitment industry; James can add real value to companies, schools and individuals who participate in his interactive Interview Skills Workshops and coaching sessions.
